The Funchal City Apartment is a strong base for small team retreats and company offsites — sleeps up to 6, three ensuite bedrooms each with a dedicated workspace, an open-plan kitchen and dining area for shared meals, fibre WiFi for video calls, and a central Funchal location ten minutes' walk from restaurants and the seafront. For longer stays or larger groups, we can issue custom checkout links via WhatsApp.
We have hosted remote teams from across Europe since opening. Madeira is a tax-efficient EU base (UTC+0 time zone overlaps with EU and US East Coast), well connected by direct flights to most major European cities, and pairs an active digital-nomad scene with hiking, surfing, and food culture for off-hours team bonding.
